I have a 1978 Triumph Spitfire. I restored as most of the car as I can without taking the body off the frame. The frame has no rust. I had the side marker lights on the rear and front fenders shaved, as well as the atenna. Its painted a Toyota color, (Absolute Red). New KYB shocks, cross drilled rotors, inner and outer tie rods, all wheel bearings, rebuilt and painted brake master cylinder, clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, calipers (painted high temp red paint), new rear wheel cylinders, drums, shoes (and all drum hardware), Goodridge stainless steel braided lines, U-Joints on the drive shaft and the rear axles, Panasport replica wheels (13 Inch) painted dark gray with polished lip (chrome lug nuts), brand new Bridgestone Potenza tires, new engine mounts, trans mounts, tranny tail seal replaced, new tranny oil, new front main seal, timing chain, water pump, radiator was cleaned and painted, new hoses, Weber downdraft 2 barrel carb with K&N filter with mannual choke, Pacesetter header with heat wrap, Black with polished fins valve cover with Minicooper style T-Handle valve cover nuts, Gauges rebuilt, (But dont have a speedo cable on it right now) (couldnt find one), new temp sensor and oil pressure sensor, switched to a Pentronix electric distributor, runs perfect, timing is right on, starts with ease, flamethrower coil, Brandnew Duralast yellow top battery, bumpers painted black, Euro headlights with halogen bulbs, used the heavy duty halogen headlight harness, fuel tank was taken out, cleaned, painted, new hoses to and from tank, and new fuel filter, new fuel cap,(Chrome), New softtop, all the interior is new, seats, carpet, wood dash, glove boxes, 3 spoke tourist throphy wheel, dash top, door seals, as well as all the seals around the car are new, stainless sill plates with the Triumph logo, bought car with 68,xxx miles on it. still has 68,xxx. and its not because I dont have a speedo cable, drove it maybe 300-400 miles since restoring it, me and my uncle have 11 cars including alfas, MG A's, MG B's 300 SL Gullwings, 190 SLs, Never even registered it, Spent 2-3 years working on it and lost interest by the time I finished, stored in a heated garage, with battery tender under a car cover, car is mint, there is probally much more that I forgot to list, let me know if your interested, I can e mail pics, don't have any pics yet. also has the stainless braided goodridge line that goes from the oil pressure sensor to the unused hole in the head. Lubes the valves better, I did the car with good taste and very good parts. Title is clean. (203) 313-4229
